GBM assault case fails to take off


THE case in which United Party for National Development (UPND) vice president for administration Geoffrey Mwamba is charged with assault and malicious damage to property yesterday failed to take off in the Kitwe Magistrate’s Court because Mr Mwamba was reportedly attending to another court case in Lusaka.
In this case, Mwamba, 57, a businessman and politician of house number 10, Roan Road, Kabulonga in Lusaka, is facing two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one count of malicious damage to property.
In count one, it is alleged that Mwamba on May 19, this year in Kitwe, jointly and whilst acting together with others unknown assaulted Moses Katongo and occasioned him actual bodily harm.READ MORE
