SEVEN men accused of stealing drugs worth over K6 million from Medical Stores Limited in Lusaka were yesterday discharged and re-arrested.
This is a case in which three Medical Stores Limited employees, Paul Bwalya and Kalaluka Munyandekwa, being warehouse receiving assistants, and Ananias Simumba, a driver as well as two Congolese nationals, were jointly charged with theft of assorted drugs.
When the matter came up yesterday before Magistrate Greenwell Malumani, public prosecutor Like Pumulo informed the court that the State was withdrawing the matter.
