FOOD security situation in Zambia is expected to remain stable throughout the remaining agriculture marketing season due to adequate household supply and significant reduced prices for maize, a research institute has said.
The Famine Early Warning Systems Network (FEWSNET), which is a research institute of the United States Agency for International Development that provides information and analysis on food security in various parts of the world, made the forecast in its latest findings.
According to FEWSNET Zambia Food Security outlook, market dependent households will continue benefitting from lower staple food improving access.
