THE Aquaculture Development Association of Zambia (ADAZ) has called on Government to support self-regulation of the aquaculture industry in the country in order to allow the private sector to play a leading role in regulating the sub-sector.
ADAZ chairperson Fisho Mwale said this will enhance regulatory capacity to increase the adoption of voluntary standards and avoid the challenges that have crippled the capture fisheries sub-sector.
