First ladies embrace poor

JUSTINAH KAPAMBWE, Lusaka
ESTHER Lungu Foundation Trust and its partners will continue to spearhead programmes aimed at enhancing the welfare of Zambians, especially the vulnerable.
First Lady Esther Lungu says the foundation will continue to supplement Government’s effort to uplift Zambians socially and economically.
Speaking when Malawian First Lady Monica Chakwera paid a courtesy call on her at Esther Lungu Foundation Trust in State Lodge area yesterday, Mrs Lungu pledged to work with her counterpart in helping people with innovative ideas to boost businesses.
“I am sure the experiences that we encounter here with the people of the low-income brackets are the same in Malawi and, together, I am sure we can change the lives of many people out there.
