MARCOPOLO Tiles has received over US$1 million worth of deals for porcelain tiles within Zambia and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region before it is commissioned next month.
Company head of finance Vinven Muinde said in an interview at the weekend that there is a high demand for porcelain tiles.
“We have received overwhelming demand from local and regional business houses and some have already deposited over US$500,000 in our bank accounts,” Mr Muinde said.
