FIRE swept through Melissa Supermarket in Lusaka’s Kabulonga and destroyed property worth millions Kwacha in the early hours of yesterday.
The first started around 04:00 hours.
Melissa Supermarket proprietor Andreas Petsuo, who watched helplessly as his supermarket went up in flames, said he has lost a lifetime investment.
“I just bought goods for sale during this Christmas period and it is all gone, and my insurance is not enough to cover the loss,” he said.READ MORE
