FAZ boss Spain-bound to check on Wada course

THE Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) will send a delegation led by president Andrew Kamanga and technical director Moses Sichone to Spain to check on the facilities and course programme before national team coach Wedson Nyirenda could travel for the nine-month training.Nyirenda and four other coaches are earmarked to go for a course in Spain as part of capacity building and empowerment of local coaches.
FAZ vice-president Rix Mweemba said in an interview in Lusaka on Saturday that they have not finalised departure dates for the five coaches.
“There is an entourage, a high-level technical delegation probably with the president himself that is going to Spain to go and look at the course. When they find out about the dates then we can finalise but definitely we are sending a team of coaches led by Nyirenda to go for the course,” Mweemba said.
