SWEDISH Ambassador to Zambia Henrik Cederin says Zambian fathers should emulate Swedish fathers who sometimes take leave to take care of the babies.
Mr Cederin said parenting should not be left to women because parenting is for both mother and father.
He said fathers’ long-term support and involvement in the lives of their children have shown positive effects on maternal health behaviours.
Speaking recently during the official opening of the Swedish and Zambian dads photo exhibitions, Mr Cederin said the exhibitions highlight the role fathers play in parenting. http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
