Farmers trained in bee-keeping

TRYNESS TEMBO, Lusaka
OVER 1,600 farmers in Muchinga and Northern provinces have been trained in beekeeping to help them increase their income levels.
Lualua Beekeeping Limited director Ronald Mwamba said the farmers have been empowered on how to keep bees and make their own beehives.
In an interview recently, Mr Mwamba said with the training, farmers will be able to supply about 10 tonnes to 15 tonnes of honey annually to the company.
