‘Exhibition to enhance tourists flow’

KELVIN MBEWE, Lusaka
ZAMBIA’S ambassador to Turkey Miriam Mulenga is confident that the recent grand tourism exhibition that Zambia attended will have a positive bearing on the county’s tourist arrivals from that country.
And Turkish tour operators and the business community president Rifat Hisarciklioglu has noted that besides creating jobs, tourism is an important catalyst for the growth of other sectors such as agriculture and small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs).
The exhibition, whose theme was ‘Discovering Africa Series Tourism in Africa: Culture and Heritage’, was held alongside a photo exhibition depicting some of Africa’s heritage sites, including Zambia’s iconic tourism flagship, the Victoria Falls.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm
