Ex-soldier makes second suicide threat

KELVIN MBEWE and NANCY SIAME, Lusaka
THERE was commotion at Cabinet Office yesterday when a dismissed soldier Trywell Katukula threatened to jump off a telecommunication tower because he has allegedly not been re-admitted into the army.

Mr Katukula, who stays in Chindwin Barracks in Kabwe, stunned hundreds of people including Ministry of Defence Permanent Secretary Sturdy Mwale, as he climbed the tower at 07:00 hours in an apparent suicide mission.
Mr Mwale pleaded with Katukula not to jump off the tower but it was not until around 12:00 hours that the former soldier climbed down.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
