EU clears airspace for Zambian planes

THE European Union (EU) has lifted a ban on Zambian air carriers, a decision that is expected to boost tourism and increase traffic between Zambia and European countries.
This is according to a statement issued by the EU in Brussels yesterday when the grouping updated its air safety list that seeks highest standards in air safety for its citizens.
“Following today’s update, all airlines certified in Zambia are cleared from the list. In addition, most aircraft of Iran Air are allowed to resume operations to the EU,” the statement reads.
