THE Energy Regulation Board (ERB) would have incurred a US$16 million revenue loss had it not increased the prices of fuel.
The board this week adjusted the prices of petroleum products by about K1 per litre.
ERB economic regulation director Alfred Mwila said the board was compelled to increase the prices to avoid revenue losses resulting from a budget deficit.
Mr Mwila said this yesterday during a media interactive forum.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
