Employers seeking to recruit graduates should not discriminate against earlier graduates

Dear editor,
I HAVE observed with sadness that employers seeking to recruit university graduates are now limiting the offer to a specific year of graduation.
A case in point is Zamtel and Zambia Airports Corporation who were looking for graduates who graduated from university not earlier than 2016.
It is evident to all that the unemployment levels are very high in the country.
Where are those unemployed graduates who graduated earlier than 2016 going to go?
Is it the end for them? Please stop this selective discrimination and be realistic.
Zambia belongs to all Zambians and they all deserve a chance if they are up to the task.
Give chance to all and then get what you want.
