Embrace technology to market Livingstone, media told

Livingstone City.

MINOR Hotels public relations manager Joyce Sikabbubba has urged the media and other stakeholders to embrace new technologies to “aggressively” market Livingstone and Zambia as a prime tourist destination.

Ms Sikabbubba said the media and stakeholders should also discard some traditional ways of doing business in a bid to successfully market tourism in contemporary times and attract significant tourist inflows.
She said journalists must play an active and proactive role in packaging enticing online stories that can attract tourists from across the globe.
