ECZ unveils 6.7 million voters


THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has released the provisional register of voters per province documented as at May 5, 2016 with a total number of 6,710,455 voters country-wide.
The provisional register indicates that Lusaka Province has the highest number of registered voters with a total number of 1, 121, 846 representing 16.7 percent, followed by Copperbelt Province with a total of 1,038,434 at 15.5 percent.
This is contained in a statement issued in Lusaka yesterday by ECZ public relations manager Cris Akufuna.
