THE high levels of tolerance and professionalism exhibited by the Electoral Commission of Zambia officials is indeed commendable.
The officers have really shown professionalism by maintaining their cool even in instances where they have been pushed to the limits.
Yes, we know that the electoral process may not be perfect but it is important to engage them in a way that accords them the respect as a body that manages the elections on behalf of our country.
The leaders from the opposition party have been very confrontational and have shown no regard for the commission.
In as much as the opposition feels aggrieved, it is important to address any issue in a non-confrontational way.
