THE Chambishi Multi-facility Economic Zone has accrued investment worth US$2 billion due to the favourable investment climate prevailing in the country.
About 40 enterprises have so far invested in the zone, which is on the Kitwe-Chingola road.
Zambia-China Economic and Trade Corporation Zone (ZCCZ) corporate affairs manager Stephen Lindunda said in an interview yesterday that the investment in the economic zone has hit US$2 billion from last year’s K1.9 billion.
