Don’t waste time in worthless relationships

Life & Life Issues with EMMANUEL MUKULA
IT MAY seem like simple logic to leave a relationship that’s no longer what you want or need, but some people would rather remain in it.
According to them, it’s better than having no relationship at all so they choose to settle for less.
They may be doing so to avoid being alone which makes one stay in an unhappy relationship.
If the relationship is not working and you have tried to do all you can to make it work, best you leave and wait for something better.
I have come to accept that to act like you are in love with someone that does not treat you well, is probably one of the most painful experiences that life can throw at you.
If you have fallen out of love because you are not treated right, it’s best to let go.
By doing so, you are gaining self-respect as well as respect for the other party.
By staying in an unhealthy relationship, you are slowly killing yourself.
Sometimes, you love and devote so much of yourself to someone who does not appreciate you.
It’s best to be true to oneself about your feelings and make a decision that will be best for you.
Walk away from a relationship that is not making you a happy and better person.
It is better to be single and alone than to be in a relationship that makes you miserable and leads you to think that you are not good enough.
Letting go will hurt but time heals a broken heart.
To get to somewhere new, to something different, or to someone better, you will have to get out of your comfort zone. Sometimes you need to cut the finger to save the hand.
You owe yourself that happiness you so much desire. You are responsible for your life, make the best of it.
