THE first batch of ballots for next month’s general election arrived in Zambia yesterday, with the police warning of stern action against political party cadres who may attempt to disrupt transportation of the documents.
The consignment of 95 pallets is for 40 parliamentary constituencies. Zambia has 156 constituencies.
The second consignment of the ballot papers for 69 constituencies will be in today and the last dispatch is expected tomorrow.
