Digital migration on course

GOVERNMENT says all parts of the country will eventually receive television signal following the migration of the system from analogue to digital.

Chief government spokesperson Kampamba Mulenga said signals will significantly improve when the switchover is done.
“This is the first time this is happening in Zambia. We expect to have signal in all parts of the country,” she said.
Ms Mulenga, who is also Minister of Information and Broadcasting Services, said this during her tour of some community radio stations – I-wave, Rise and Kokoliko FM.
“We are on schedule with the migration project from analogue to digital, and in the next two months, we will switch on to the digital network system,” she said.
