Deputy PS heads Luapula

FORMER Luapula Province permanent secretary Chanda Kasolo has disclosed that following his transfer to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services, the Secretary to the Cabinet has appointed Luapula deputy permanent secretary Joyce Nsamba to act in the position until the position is filled.
In a notice dated November 17, 2014 to all district commissioners, heads of government departments and parastatal chiefs in the province, Mr Kasolo states that following his transfer from the province with effect from November 13, 2014, the secretary to the Cabinet has appointed Nsamba to act as permanent secretary with effect from November 13, 2014 for administrative convenience only until the position is filled.
He appealed for support and encouragement for Nsamba from all the stakeholders in the region as she performs her duties of the office of the permanent secretary to steer developmental programmes in the province.
Mr Kasolo thanked all the stakeholders in the development process of the province for the support he enjoyed during his brief tenure of office as permanent secretary for the province.
Mr Kasolo was appointed as Luapula Province permanent by President Sata on July 24, 2013.  He was transferred to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Services this month. – ZANIS
