ZAMBIA coach Bruce Mwape has attributed Wednesday’s embarrassing 4-0 defeat to Nigeria at the Women Africa Cup of Nations to defensive lapses.
Mwape said in an interview from Cape Coast that the defenders made a lot of mistakes and the defending champions pounced on them.
South Africa have six points while Nigeria and Zambia have three points each, but the West Africans have a better goal aggregate.
The Super Falcons have scored four goals and conceded one while Zambia have found the net five times and allowed four.
