CHAMPIONS Red Arrows’ aspirations of retaining the National Rugby League (NRL) title will today come under check when they face Green Buffaloes in a rescheduled Week 16 match at the Showgrounds in Lusaka.
‘Men at Work’ Diggers will battle it out against Chibuluma in Kalulushi.
Pacesetters Nkwazi have 37 points, five better than Arrows.
Arrows must beat Buffaloes to keep alive their ambitions of retaining the title.
Arrows coach Mwamba Chishimba is expected to maintain the same team that edged Lusaka 9-0 in the previous match.
The airmen will bank on international Terry Kaushiku, Patson Chola and Edward Mumba for victory while Fernand Kashimoto, Danny Mulumbwa, Larry Kaushiku and Stanley Kalasa will lead Buffaloes.
Diggers have 30 points while Buffaloes have 17.
Diggers will travel to Kalulushi with victory in mind.
In Benaya Mukwamba, Ntumba Besa and Ackim Mushota, Diggers have a winning side while Chibuluma will rely on the experience of Chama Mutiti.
