THE Zambia Daily Mail yesterday donated assorted goods worth thousands of Kwacha to the paediatric wing of the Cancer Diseases Hospital in Lusaka.

Company managing director Nebat Mbewe said the media house decided to donate to the children’s wing of the hospital as part of commemoration of 16 days of activism against gender-based violence (GBV).
“Although there may not be an evident direct link between GBV and treatment of cancer, there is a common denominator and this is love. Without love from a spouse, partner, parent or friend, one is bound to suffer emotionally,” he said.
