‘Customs duty removal good’

THE Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) says the proposed removal of customs duty on point-of-sale (POS) machines will help reduce the cost of electronic transactions, thereby enhance tax compliance.

To this effect, ZRA is expected to start the implementation of electronic fiscal devices by December this year.
