What Mr Joel Lungu articulated in his letter published in the Zambia Daily Mail on March 28, 2017 entitled â€œCulture of studying to pass exams costing usâ€ made sense.
However, blaming this on parents alone was a bit askew. The biggest culprit of this problem is Zambiaâ€™s employment and more especially staff promotion policies.
People are now cheating to get academic qualifications so that they get a job and/or get a promotion. Experience is not a factor.
