A GLOBAL seed producer Corteva Agriscience has introduced a farming technique, acre flex, which helps farmers improve profit margins through increased yields.
Corteva Agriscience, an Agriculture division of DowDuPont, wants to influence its agriculture footprint and brand equity of seed brands to introduce crop protection solutions to farmers in the market.
Managing director Samson Nyendwa said the acre flex, which the company is introducing through Pioneer, is meant to help reduce agricultural input costs.
He said in a statement that crops in the acre flex line achieve competitive yields, while planting 10 percent fewer seeds
