Cops finally search Martha Mushipe’s offices

POLICE in Lusaka yesterday finally searched the business premises of United Party for National Development (UPND) lawyer Martha Mushipe after a five-day standoff over the legality of the search.
Senior detectives had a challenge getting into Ms Mishipe’s offices at the Millennium Village in Lusaka to carry out the search after the Lusaka High Court threw out her application for the restoration of a request for leave to apply for a judicial review.
Around 17:00 hours, the detectives were already at the offices geared to carry out the search but they were locked and there was no one to hand over the key.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm
