Copper Queens in ZSIC cash, insurance cover boost

WITH 41 days remaining before the start of the 2023 FIFA World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, the Copper Queens yesterday received a boost when ZSIC General Insurance unveiled a K2.3 million sponsorship package.And skipper Barbara Banda said the sponsorship will motivate the team to perform to expectation at the month-long tournament kicking off on July 20. that President Hakainde Hichilema hosted for the Copper Queens at State House last year. In a speech read on her behalf by deputy director – marketing Kuda Ngoma during the unveiling ceremony yesterday, Nguluwe said ZSIC will provide insurance cover for 54 members of the team for K2.3 million.
