Copper price drops marginally

THE price of copper has marginally dropped by 0.4 percentage point to US$6,975 following United States of America President Donald Trump’s plan to impose heavy tariffs on steel and aluminium imports.
This has resulted in most of the metals on the global market to slip on heightened fears of a trade war, which is a situation in which countries try to damage each other’s trade, typically by the imposition of tariffs or quota restrictions.
