Cop doubts paternity of son

MIKE MUGALA, Lusaka
A 48-year-old police officer of Lusaka’s SOS Children’s area has been dragged to court by his 21-year-old son for failure to pay school fees for him at the National Institute of Public Administration (NIPA).

Braize Hang’andu told Chawama Local Court that he is unable to pay school fees at NIPA for Pride Hang’andu of Chawama township because he doubts whether he is his biological father.

But after arguments on both sides, magistrate Lewis Mumba sitting with magistrate Nancy Ngoma, ruled that there is no doubt that Braize is the biological father of Pride according to the testimonies given before court.
