Congratulations Chipolopolo but…

Dear editor,
I WISH to congratulate the Chipolopolo on the deserved 2-1 win over Guinea Bissau.
The team demonstrated the hunger to win although the strikers were not very accurate in the final third.
I wonder why coach Sven Vandenbroeck did not start with striker Patson Daka because he could have put away those opportunities Cletus Chama, Lubambo Musonda and Enock Mwepu created.
Overall, the performance was not bad.
Congratulations again Chipolopolo for picking three valuable points – the first full points since the qualifiers started.
However, the victory was marred by the mistake by Mamelodi Sundowns goalkeeper Kennedy Mweene, who has left many fans worried.
Some fans are now saying the coach should consider retiring Mweene, who’s mistake suggests the man is tired.
Of course, every top goalkeeper makes mistakes. Let us spare Mweene because at this stage, we still need his experience even if it is not the first time he is making such a silly mistake.
