COMPANIES listed on the Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE) closed the year on a positive note with turnover increasing by over K122 million.
Last week, the local bourse recorded a turnover valued at over K123 million from about K1.5 million the previous week, a rise in overall turnover entails that LuSE witnessed increased market activity.
“In the week ended December 29, 2017, a total of 44,189,798 shares were transacted in 50 trades, resulting in a market turnover of K123, 568,646. This included trading activity in CEC Africa, which is trading as CCAF on the quoted tier.
