Closure of schools worries ZNUT

NANCY SIAME, Lusaka
THE Zambia National Union of Teachers (ZNUT) is concerned that pupils in examination classes, whose schools have remained closed due to cholera, may not perform well during their final examinations.

ZNUT spokesperson Joe Kasaka said some schools have remained closed three weeks after the scheduled reopening date.
“We are worried that pupils in examination classes may be badly affected, and this may result in bad results,” he said.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
