Climate Smart agriculture in £25 million boost

THE British government has signed a five-year partnership worth £25 million with the Conservation Farming Unit (CFU) aimed at improving the livelihood of rural Zambian families through building their resilience to climate change.
The programme, which has been named ‘Climate Smart Agriculture Zambia’ (CSAZ) will run from now until 2020 and is expected to benefit more than 600,000 small and medium-scale farmers.
