DIVISION One bound City of Lusaka have distanced themselves from a letter that was written by its sponsor Diego Cassili to the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) questioning the legality of the amnesty that the governing body extended to teams that did not follow procedure in registering players.
Club general secretary Christopher Chilongo said in an interview in Lusaka yesterday that the ‘Yamoto’ executive has never written a letter to FAZ concerning the registration of players.
