MOVIE REVIEW with SHUPE SAKALA
IN AMERICA, the Chipmunks are synonymous with Christmas as their high-pitched and high-speed voices often heard carolling away and so it is no surprise that the Chipmunks return to the big screen now.
The three chipmunks; Alvin, Theodore and Simon are enjoying their music career under the management and guardianship of Dave and when his budding romance spells the possibility of a step brother – Alvin acts out.
In a bid to halt Dave’s marriage proposal, the trio hit the road and air.
Alvin’s big mouth sets them in trouble enough times and there is the usual mix of popular music thrown into the scenes that are full of laughs.

The young fighter never met his father, as Apollo died before he was born but boxing is in his blood, so he seeks out Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) and asks the retired champ to be his trainer.
This touching drama sees both Adonis and Rocky fight for their lives, in and out of the ring sees much of Apollo in Adonis, and agrees to mentor him, even as he battles an opponent deadlier than any in the ring.
