Cholera affects 835

CHOLERA MANAGEMENT.

THE number of cholera cases in Lusaka Province has risen to 835 since the disease broke out in the first week of February.
Lusaka province medical officer Kennedy Malama said in an interview yesterday that 20 new cholera cases were recorded on Wednesday at Kanyama cholera treatment centre.
“Out of 835 cases in Lusaka Province, 824 cases are in Lusaka district but it is important to note that the 20 new cases which have been recorded include people from John Laing, Kanyama,  Marapodi, Makeni and Chipata townships,” he said.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm
