NEWS that unknown people on Saturday damaged roofing sheets at the house of national team striker Alex Ng’onga’s mother is disheartening.
It is unfortunate that people could express their anger in that way.
Having noticed the number of good chances Ng’onga missed, it was cardinal for those people (fans) to arrive at a point that not all shots on target are converted into goals.
Ng’onga should not be blamed for the loss recorded on Saturday against Nigeria.
Fans should accept that in the world of football a win, draw or lose is possible. It is high time we stopped this tendency of criticising players whenever we record a loss.
