THE coming of the digital media has provided tough competition to the traditional media the world over, with newspaper circulation facing the fiercest competition.
To survive this competition, the traditional media has embarked on a transformation path that has seen them diversifying into other services that the new media or digital media offers.
China is one country that has done well in the convergence of the traditional and new media.
Its massive investment in this capital-intensive transformative journey is something that developing countries like Zambia have a lot to learn from.
