Chimata: Land of superstition, witchcraft

JACK ZIMBA, Siavonga
IT IS five days since schools opened and pupils returned for their first term, but Moonga Middle Basic School in Siavonga still has empty classrooms.
The only sign this is not a deserted school is a brand new flag flying above the three blocks of buildings.
The pupils at the school and the parents do not want the school to open until it is cleansed of “evil spirits” that are said to be tormenting the pupils http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
