Child abuse irks traditional leaders

SIX traditional and religious leaders from six districts have complained of rampant truancy and child neglect in their communities resulting in defilements, early marriages and general child abuse.
Speaking at a two-day meeting in Kabwe, the community leaders from Kasama, Mpika, Mkushi, Kabwe, Katete and Mazabuka said the degree of these vices is worrisome.
