Chiefs demand ‘One Zambia, One Nation’

THE House of Chiefs has urged Zambians to maintain peace and uphold the motto “One Zambia, One Nation” in the aftermath of last month’s general elections and beyond.
House of Chiefs chairperson Chief Ntambu read out an eight-point communique demanding that the principles of justice and the rule of law should be upheld.
“As House of Chiefs, we are duty-bound to promote the maintenance of the peace our nation has enjoyed for many years. This peaceful and democratic reputation has contributed to our nation’s ability to host refugees from the surrounding regions,” Chief Ntambu said.READ MORE
