CHIEF Chinyaku of the Ngoni people has called on Government and other stakeholders to help the Ngoni Royal Establishment curb alcohol and drug abuse during the Nc’wala ceremony.
And Chipata District Administrative Officer Kapembwa Sikazwe commended traditional leaders for the role they are playing in the fight against HIV and AIDS.
Chief Chinyaku said alcohol and drug abuse will only be rooted out during Nc’wala ceremony when all stakeholders will be involved.
He said this during a sexual and reproductive health rights workshop in Chipata.
