Cheap talk on corruption futile

DORA Siliya.

CATHERINE MUMBA, Lusaka
UNSUBSTANTIATED allegations of theft of public resources will not deter Government from its robust development agenda, Chief Government spokesperson Dora Siliya says.
And Minister of Finance Margaret Mwanakatwe says Government has not offered any State-owned enterprises to any lender as collateral for any borrowing.
On corruption allegations, Ms Siliya has said it is unfortunate that some politicians have developed a tendency of trying to distract Government by accusing it of being corrupt whenever it invests in the country’s development.
Ms Siliya was responding to questions from journalists during a joint press briefing with Minister of Energy Mathew Nkhuwa and Ministry of Transport and Communications Permanent Secretary Misheck Lungu yesterday.http://epaper.daily-mail.co.zm/
