Chance to see Chance the Rapper

CHANCE The Rapper.

KELVIN KACHINGWE, Lusaka
ABOUT 14 Castle Lite consumers are heading to South Africa this Sunday on all-expenses paid for trip to watch three-time Grammy-award winning hip-hop artiste Chance The Rapper live in concert.
The show, at the TicketPro Dome on Northumberland Rd and Olievenhout Avenues, North Riding, Northgate, Johannesburg, will also involve South Africa’s hip hop’s official best newcomer Shane Eagle, Nadia Nakai and Frank Casino.
In the words of the organisers, Shane will unlock a new definition of flow while Nadia’s scintillating fusion of innovative rhymes and dancehall beats will bring that extra something to the stage with Frank bringing in the unique sounds of superstar-in-the-making.
The show is part of the Castle Lite Unlocks experience, also known as the “unlocks concert” which has seen many artistes being unlocked in countries such as Zambia, Mozambique, Tanzania as well as South Africa.
For the first time ever, the Castle Lite Unlocks came to Zambia last month with a show at Levy Mall in Lusaka featuring the multi-talented hitmaker Nasty C.
“Africans have interacted with the Castle Lite Unlocks concerts in South Africa so we thought it would be cool to bring the experience to countries such as Zambia, with headlining acts from African countries,” Castle Lite brand manager Thelma Kaonga said.
For a chance to see Chance The Rapper, fans had two options: buying a non-returnable bottle of Castle Lite, looking for the unique code on the underliner of the crown and entering via USSD by dialling *373*UniqueCode#; or they could buy returnable bottles of Castle Lite at selected retail outlets, and pop a completed entry form into a designated entry box provided by promoters.
Entries were entered into a random draw, with over 9,000 instant runner-up prizes of K5,K10 and K20 talk time top-ups on all mobile phone networks.
The competition started in early-March for the non-returnable bottles and end- February for the returnable bottles.
Castle Lite offered chances for 1,000 consumers to win tickets to an exclusive concert.
The Zambian winners going to watch Chance The Rapper are Richard Phiri, William Mwanza, Richard Sikazwe, Chama Mulenga, Wallace Tembo, Bwalya Bwalya, Leonard Kaputula, Teddy Chibwe, Naviety Simutowe, Harriet Mukungule, Joseph Chileshe, Beaury Nkumbula, Tetiwe Mwanza and Chilufya Zimba.
