GOVERNMENT says certification is key to sustainable development because it leads to standard-based solutions that enhance trade, promote innovation and guarantee improvement of quality of life in the country.
Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry Permanent Secretary Mushuma Mulenga said there is need for industry players to pursue certification on their products to become competitive and penetrate new markets.
Mr Mulenga said yesterday during the certificate handover to 11 companies that industry players should utilise services of the Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) so that they can scale up their businesses, seize new opportunities without unnecessary hindrance and ultimately contribute to the growth of the CLICK TO READ MORE
