I WAS profoundly elated at the recent press report that Government has engaged a contractor to upgrade township and urban
roads in Kabwe and Kapiri Mposhi districts at a cost of over K400 million.
It was also reported that Central Province Minister Sydney Mushanga even inspected 1.2 kilometres of the road between Luangwa and Bwacha townships which was worked on by the contractor.
What is Government’s position on the rehabilitation of township roads in Mkushi? Twachula sana kulukungu ne filindi pa misebo. With due respect, Mr Mushanga, come and check the state of the roads in the district dubbed the ‘breadbasket’ of Zambia.
